How long will my order take?
Due to a very high number of orders at present, delivery is between 2-5 working days. We try our hardest to get your order to you within 2 working days. We ask that you please also make reasonable allowance for orders placed over weekends and during public holidays.
Where is my order?
If you have not received your order within 5 working days, we recommend that you check with your local Royal Mail sorting office before contacting customer service, as unfortunately calling cards are not always left.

What if there is an incorrect or missing item on my order?
If there is an item missing from your order, please contact us via customercare@xen-tan.co.uk or alternatively call our customer care team on 0844 800 7662.
If you have received an incorrect item then please return it to us and we will send out the correct item out immediately.

I want to return an item
You have the right to cancel your order at any time up to 14 days after the delivery date, if it is new, unused, unopened and in a re-saleable condition.
If the products have already been posted to you, you must return the products to us at the time of cancellation and we will credit your credit or debit card with the price of the products within 30 days beginning with the day on which notice of cancellation was given. You should return products with a cover note which includes your full name, e-mail address, and an order reference number (without this we will not be able to process the refund) to:

What do I do if I have forgotten to enter my promotional code?
All promotional codes must be entered at the time of order placement and unfortunately cannot be applied after the order has been received by us.
Please note you must click “apply” after you have entered your promotional code in order to obtain your discount.
Can I order XEN-TAN by phone?
The web site is a secure method for entering your order and allows you, the customer, to enter your personal information and ensure that is correct. If you prefer, you can place an order by telephone, on the XEN-TAN Order line 0844 800 7662.
Is it safe to order on line?
Your on-line credit card transactions are completely secure on XEN-TAN.co.uk. We use Protx as our Payment Provider and this ensures safe transmission of your personal information using 256 bit full encryption over SSL.
All data transmissions are also verified by Thawte. Note that we don't keep any record of your credit card details.
What information is required and is it shared outside our company?
When shopping on xen-tan.co.uk (online) - all information is collected at the Protx website, and they tell us only the information we need to process and complete your order. This includes: your name, your email address, your address, and you can choose to let us know your email address.

Which XEN-TAN product is right for me?
All XEN-TAN products produce a beautiful long-lasting tan. Choosing the "right" XEN-TAN product ends up being a personal preference for (1) instant colour and (2) "feel" of the product (primarily moisturising) and (3) application.

How does XEN-TAN stop you from turning orange?
Here's the science bit - People who tan easily in the sun have an olive undertone to their skin, not an orange one. Older type self-tans use an unnatural orange tone meant to mimic a tan. XEN-TAN uses a more olive undertone that looks realistic and deep, on even the fairest tones. All Sunless tanning products have the same active ingredient DHA.
XEN-TAN uses premium ingredients combined with the DHA to give a more even tan with a more natural colour. Older self-tan formulas have an orangey cast to them, the colour can look rusty and unnatural, especially on fairer skins.
Will XEN-TAN dry out my skin, like other fake tans?
No, this sunless tanning product drenches your skin with moisture and is unique, in that it promises no unsightly dry orange patches on elbows, knees, wrists and ankles. XEN-TAN's moisturisers penetrate at the same time as the tanning ingredients so the colour is smooth & streak free.
Moisture levels are the key to getting an even sunless tan. XEN-TAN uses the best quality ingredients for a longer-lasting tan. Colour applies more smoothly to hands and feet than traditional formulas.
What makes XEN-TAN last longer than some other tans?
Many new sunless tanning products use fruit acids. Fruit acids help to remove the dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. In self-tanning lotions they can also make your tan work more quickly. Unfortunately, as fast as the tan comes on, it can wear off. Fruit acids in self-tan products have a drying effect and tend to break up the look of your tan as it fades leaving a freckled appearance.
XEN-TAN does not use fruit acids in any of it's tanning products. XEN-TAN formulas begin to develop in just three hours and fade naturally like a real tan. The perfect blend of natural oils results in a streak-free application and a smooth, natural-looking tan.
Do I have to sleep in it, Like other self-tanning lotions?
No, not necessarily. Initially, because of the time involved in sunless tanning, along with the appearance of the tan whilst developing (often looking like mud), and the odour from the product, you needed to wear it over night. This is no longer necessary. XEN-TAN sunless tanning products not only start to develop in 3 hours, but the "instant" colour allows you to look tanned immediately (whilst developing deeper & darker overtime) so you can look better on your way out of the house.
You can still sleep in you self tan lotion, mousse or spray if it is easier for you but because of XEN-TAN's great scent and lighter texture tanning during the day is now an option. Great for busy people who are just too tired to put their tan on last thing at night, you can simply apply it straight after your morning shower, it will provide instant colour whilst developing throughout the day, (darker clothes are advised on your tanning days).
How long do I have to leave XEN-TAN on before showering it off?
The tan will begin to develop in 3-4 hours. However for optimum results, we would suggest you leave it on for a minimum of 7-8 hours before showering it off.

It's not "fair" that most self-tan products in the past looked the best on people who already have a tan. XEN-TAN sunless tanning products are formulated to flatter people with even the fairest skin tones. Technology has improved greatly in the self-tan market and we can now produce a very realistic colour that makes fair skin look naturally darker.
The dark-tanning formulas are actually better for fair skin than lighter-tanning products. For those shy of dark "instant" colour but recognise the benefits - try the Dark Mousse which results in the same beautiful dark tan but has a light/sheer instant colour. XEN-TAN is great for fair skinned individuals - you can now enjoy a beautiful tan without the damage of the sun or tanning beds
What’s the difference between Deep Bronze and Dark Lotion?
Both offer an Instant Colour, if you favour a deep 'Dark Olive' Instant Colour, then we would recommend the Dark Lotion, if you prefer a slightly lighter 'milk chocolate' instant colour (enough to see where the tan is going), leaving a light olive glow, that develops throughout the day or night then Deep Bronze is the better option for you.
As Dark Lotion contains Nut Oils, it is intensely moisturising and is a great option for those with very dry skin. If you are new to self-tanning, we would recommend you give Deep Bronze a try initially, as it blends on the skin completely effortlessly, and dries almost immediately. It really is personal preference, a lot of our clients use both and alternate, as they recognise the remarkable benefits of both products.

I see some XEN-TAN products contain nut extracts, is it safe for those who have nut-allergies?
Individuals who have nut-allergies should always consult their doctor before using any product containing nut extracts. Our “New” Super Hero Products “Transform & Deep Bronze” do not contain nut extracts, so are a great alternative if you have nut-allergies.
